  Please don't take your kids here if they need dental work. Dr. Ghiabi is rough and not good with kids. We took our son (4 years old) to have teeth fixed in January 2017 and it was the worst experience of my life. For starters, they immediately try to separate you from your child and they have little to no patience for a terrified child. Thankfully my son doesn't remember going at all thanks to the sedation. He had one tooth that was bothering him and several others that needed work. We agreed to tackle the one that was bothering him first under sedation and, depending on how he handled that, we would decide whether or not to continue with the rest. After 30 mins of him strapped down and screaming while they worked, the dental assistant came out to say they had fixed DIFFERENT teeth than what we agreed on and not the one that had bothered him. The poor kid had to endure another 20 minutes while they did what they were supposed to do in the first place. Then, to top it all off, they capped a tooth that didn't need capping (that tooth now causes him pain) and filled two other teeth together without a space between them so we have to go to another dentist to have the work they did fixed. All the appointment with Pinnacle did was damage our child's teeth, cause a lot of stress and cost us money. If you get referred here, know there are other options and check around. I wouldn't let these people near my son again. Also, the sedation they use doesn't make your child nap lightly as they told us it would. In our case, our son fought and screamed and cried and once they started he had to be wrapped up so he couldn't fight for treatment. It was terrible.

  AVOID at all costs. She may be the absolute rudest and most disrecptpful dentist I have met and she should NOT be trusted with your children. She refused treatment because my daughter had Scarlett fever 5 days prior. My daughter hasn't been contagious for 3 days and was completely back to herself. The ER specialists at IWK said she was perfectly fine to return to daycare/school (which she had already). After consulting with Pinnacle health the day prior to my daughters appointment, they said ti wouldn't be a problem. I hired sitters to watch my other children only to have them tell me its not ok now.I then consulted with our family physician and our dentist whom both said she is ok to treat and we have an appointment tomorrow to try and fill her cavity without sedation. She yelled at my five year old daughter because she was crying for me because the dentist hurt her during the x-ray. She then proceeded to talk horribly about my daughter ( infront of her) cause she was upset. They sedate children because they are too upset to have it done at a regular dentistry clinic its their JOB to be kid friendly. To further this incident the staff were just as rude.
