  4 Paws, overall is a convenient and good vet clinic. That is to say, for routine check ups and general care of your pet, they would suffice. However in the event of an emergency, do not let the receptionist make you believe that their service can replace those of Metro Animal Emergency Clinic. Unfortunately, when you google Halifax pet ER, this is one of the top results that comes back, and if you ask "is this the vet ER" the receptionists has been told to tell you "we are a 24 hour hospital and can see your pet right away" I made that mistake earlier this year, and they were grossly unqualified to care of my dog whom sustained a relatively severe arm fracture. As stated by many others already, the vet is also never on time, my minimum wait for the vet was 30 minutes, some up to an hour, and there is frequent communication error either due to confusion, or their system is down ... which oddly enough happens a lot.
